Daphna Levy & Tamir Miler
Daphna Levy is an adventurous singer, songwriter and arranger weaving together jazz with ethnic music and with touches of classical pieces.
She began her musical pursuit playing the upright bass and later on studied jazz piano and theater.
Daphna’s album Late Night Journey features highly acclaimed tenor sax player Lew Tabackin. The album was recorded in Tel Aviv and NYC with an international band of musicians from the US, Israel and Europe.
Daphna holds an MA degree in Far Eastern philosophy and her musicianship follows the Levy ancient tribe of spiritually elated musicians. “For me,” she says, “jazz is a route created while walking. It’s a way of feeling connected and touching people;
a journey of self expression.”

Tamir Miler was born in Tajikistan and grew up listening to classical music at home and playing classical piano.
In his teenage years, after the family immigrated to Israel, he discovered jazz and began to improve himself in the genre studying with leading teachers in Israel.
After his military service Tamir received a scholarship at Berklee College of Music in Boston, where he graduated at Jazz piano under Ray Santisi and Laszlo Gardoni.
Since his return to Israel, Tamir has performed and recorded with local and international jazz artists such as Dianne Reeves and Michael Varekamp. He released an album of his original music titled Walk In Spirit.
Tamir has been playing in numerous bands at festivals and clubs in different countries and he is a member of Daphna Levy & The ClassiCats.
Tamir is also a sought after piano teacher and arranger for bands and orchestras
