The new duo KNOM is composed of two young jazz musicians from Italy, Gabriele Boggio Ferraris on vibraphone/electronics and Alessandro Rossi on drums/electronics. Both winners of 2018 prize “New Generation Jazz”, despite their young age they can boast several records and worldwide tour. They have collaborated with great artists, such as Dave Douglas, Steven Bernstein, Hindi Zara, Andreu Panagiotis, and many more.
Their new band, K N O M is a unique dialogue between two worlds of percussions, acoustic and electrics: the result is an unexpected and multi-form music in witch every sound, every instrument is the main actor.

Gabriele Boggio Ferraris : 8 times awardedamong the best vibraphonist in Italy for Jazzit Magazine, has released 5 album as a leader and played in some of the most important festivals and clubs in Italy, including Blue Note Milano, JAZZMI, Torino Jazz Festival, Bergamo Jazz Festival. IN 2015 he funded UR Records, an independent jazz label, producing albums of worldwide artists, like Marc Ribot, Chris Speed, Bob Moses, Daniele di Bonaventura and more.

Alessandro Rossi : of the most demanded Jazz drummer in Italy, has won several international prizes and has performed in Europe, Asia, America. His own band, “Emancipation”, released its debut album for the legendary label CAM Jazz. He has recorded several records for the most important jazz labels
